"Marin Drive"

This club event got on a very early start. Those participating met at our staging area in Marin at 8:30 a.m. Ten NSXs and one BMW M5 made the event. We had one new owner with a black 2002 NSX who made the event as well. The even called for taking a liesurely and spirited loop around Marin, a stop at the local Ferrari store and then go for some good pizza provided by Nick Lococo at Harry Somerfield's residence. With everyone anxious to get going, we all put our NSXs in gear and took off!
About 30 miles into the trip, we took a rest stop and packed our NSXs in one small parking lot.
We then hit the road on our way up windy Hwy1 passing by Point Reyes and stopping by Muir Beach, which can be seen off the edge of the highway. We then continued the drive over Mt. Tamalpias towards Mill Valley.
Our last and final stop was at Ferrari of San Francisco which is located in Marin.
Next stop was for pizza. We took a short drive to Belvedere where we had great pizza, a cool pool for swimming and a great time with fellow members. Several others who couldn't make the drive showed to participate. Thank you Kevin Hiroshima for being our sweeper with your awesome M5!
