NSXCA Northwest Region - Comptech Tour, 6/6/98

June 6, 1998

This is THE one event that everyone was waiting for.
The day started with those coming gathering at designated meeting places.
Below are photos from two meeting places. The intial get together was in Milpitas.
We then caravaned to our last and final stop in Cordelia. After a lot of picture taking
our large caravan of NSXs started its way in the direction of Comptech.

Everyone made it to Comptech with the anticipation of a fine day ahead of us!

We basically took over Comptech with this show of so many NSXs!
The Comptech people greeted us with smiles and gave everyone "goodie bags" including posters with the Comptech Realtime NSX.
We were given a tour of the facility and an NSX engine in their test room was fired up and run through its paces.
In the "back yard," there were serveral examples of their work as well as displays featuring an incredible display of NSX performance parts.

After the tour was over, it was time for the next part of the event.
A drive to the Montevina Winery near Plymouth for a wine tasting, a winery tour, and photos.
We all got our NSX fired up and ready to take some of the nicest roads to this winery.
After a moderate fun drive, with the Comptech boys taking lead, we all converged on the winery.
Members tasted wine, took lots of picures, toured the winery, and a few event stocked up for the occasion!

After the wine tour was winding down, we set our sights on the reception at Niello Acura.
The drive from the winery was a blast! We all stopped for a rest and then headed for Niello Acura.

When we arrived at Niello Acura, we knew we were at the right place! Plenty of reserved parking was available right in front of the dealership. All of our NSX were parked in a nice fashion.
All of us toured the dealership and were able to see a complety fitted Comptech NSX. We were given hats and a mousepad with a yellow NSX on it. The parts department was offering special discounts to us so many took advantage of the specials and got themselves some real nice accessories for their NSXs.
The reception got under way with Niello Acura providing us all with some real good food from the Olive Garden.
The Comptech people were there on hand to answer any questions that we had to throw at them with a fine example of their work right behind them.
Next was a raffle with many winning some neat prizes provided by Comptech and Niello Acura.
