December 16, 1995 This was the very first meeting of NSX owners and enthusiasts and it turned out to be a total success! We all met at Shoreline Park in Mountain View. Thanks to Gary Berger for organizing this innaugural event. We needed to kick start this and Gary did an excellent job. It was enough emailing and time for everyone to meet. One by one, NSXs started to show up. Once everyone arrived, there were seven NSXs in the show. There really wasn't one "stock" NSX in the bunch. There was a "Honda" NSX complete with emblems, one fitted with a racing harness and others with Comptech and aftermarket improvements. Photos below are THUMBNAILS. Click on them for a LARGER picture. After checking out our NSXs and having fun looking at all the modifications that were on hand, we headed off to the other end of the park where we had an outside lunch. We then discussed where this meeting could go. Should we meet again, perhaps start a club and organize club driving events? Looks like everyeone was for it. With that behind us, everyone departed knowing that the creation of a club was the best idea. The first Northern California NSX Club lineup! This event marks the beginning of a new club for NSX owners and enthusiasts!
