August 23, 1997

This meeting was organized by Harry Somerfield.
Everyone met at Harry's place in Belvedere, just north of San Francisco.
More and more NSXs began to show up.
It wasn't to cool seeing a cycle cop with a radar gun in hand just down the street
before getting to Harry's but everyone made it through fine.

As everyone arrived, we all sat down for snacks, looked through photo albums,
and gathered out in front around our eye popping NSX show.
Mike Niday showed how much can be chromed and polished on an NSX.
We even had a new member with a '97 Kaiser Silver NSX with an awesome sound system.

We started our drive towards the local Ferrari dealership.
At this point there were more NSXs than Ferraris on the dealership premises.
I wonder if they minded that?

We then headed towards Lococo's, which was a little more than 50 miles away.
We took off driving along Hwy 1 with a few opportunities for some spirited runs.
We drove through some real curvy roads and cruised by George Lucas'
"Skywalker Ranch" (he owns a black NSX).

Towards the end of the drive, all of us were getting real hungry.
Fortunately one our club members, Nick Lococo, owns a excellent pizza restaurant.
The parking lot in front of Lococo's was nothing but NSXs
with everyone having a fun time and enjoying excellent pizza.

The lineup at Lococo's.
