When our club organizes driving events, it is highly recommended that those participating have a club radio. Not only is it much safer, everyone in the caravan will be warned ahead of time by the leader(s) of any hazards and cautions important for our safety and those of others. Our club radio frequency is "yellow," UHF 464.550 MHz. There are numerous models of the two-watt radios which can operate on 464.55 MHz. Many radios can be used if they support this frequency. Some of these models may need to be programmed by the vendor the 464.550 MHz frequency. Some of the most popular models are listed below:
